Today I am reflecting on the journey we all have as Christians. We walk towards completion in the Lord. We journey from being broken to becoming unbroken. Let me give you a good scripture for this thought:
Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. 1 John 3:2

All of us have faced adversity. To be honest many have faced it within churches not just in the world. We have been run over and many have been broken.
I share my little book as a prayer for the church. Too often we hurt the hurting for a second time in seeking a beautiful neat and perfect church community. We shun them like the lepers in the Bible. We create our camp and leave many injured and bleeding outside the walls. Jesus didn’t do this. We must believe the Father’s agenda that He desired to save the world. If we can’t hold our own broken ones in the church how can we reach those beyond its walls?
Life is messy and hard. The Lord isn’t afraid of that. Let us learn to hold our broken ones. The reality is we are all broken just some of us show our brokenness on the outside. May the Lord bless you.
